Description

This coin was issued to commemorate the American Civil War. Front side features 2 soldiers and is surrounded by UNITED STATES F AMERICA at the top and BLUE AND GRAY REUNION at the bottom. Reverse side 1863 75th ANNIVERSARY 1936 BATTLE OF GETTYSBURG. Center design is USA shield and Confederate shield split by column with axe at the top. The column also splits the word IN GOD WE TRUST. Bottom of coin- 1936 Half Dollar.
