These relics from yesteryear were used to illuminate the pathway for horse drawn carriages. Most areas did not have street lighting so these were necessary for the carriage drivers to see where they were going and for the passengers to see their surroundings and each other. The lamps are hexagonal (six sided) and include 5 glass panes and the brass access panel. The top of each lamp is adorned by a majestic eagle in flight pose. These lamps are in their original condition and have not been modified to work via electricity. Original mounting brackets are also included.
